Monumental bronze fountain by renowned American artist, Sandy Scott. Depicting birds in various stages of flight above, birds drinking from, preening around, and bathing in a large bird bath. Signed "Sandy Scott", "AP", and "© '85" to base. Includes Scott's original engineered plans for the water basin/reservoir with detailed sketches, measurements, details,etc. Overall measurements 72" H x 56" W. Height to top: 72", height to bowl: 29", base diameter: 20", bowl diameter: 30", top bird: 12x17". This original work is the Artist Proof of her like works that have been found at Brookgreen Gardens- Murrells Inlet, South Carolina (currently); Southwest School of Art- San Antonio, Texas; United States Military Academy at West Point -West Point, NY; and in Albuquerque, New Mexico- as part of their Public Art Program.
