Antique German 800 silver Judaica figural Etrog, Ethrog or Esrog box, a traditional Jewish gift from bride to groom. In the diaspora communities, the etrog would be kept in the box when not in use during the seven or eight day fesival of sukkot. Also great as a trinket, spice, tea, or jewelry box. Crescent moon and crown hallmark to bottom, along with remnants of a makers mark. Measures 6 1/2" L x 4" W x 3" H. Weighs 238g.
