Intricate gold gilt design with grape vines, flower baskets, winged pole columns, and ornate capital. Red seal to back reads "Wenersborgs Hall Stampell 1823"- Vänersborg in Älvsborg län (county) in western Sweden, near its southern border with Norway. In the first part of the 20th century and earlier one of its spelling forms was Wenersborg. Measures 50" L x 28" W x 4 1/4" D.
