213 - HUNGARIAN USSR CCCP JADE SILVER ROUND EARRINGS

Beautiful carved green nephrite jade disks set in 916/835 silver. Posts hallmarked "C 916" (91.6% purity) and "[hammer and sickle inside a five-pointed star]". Russian mark circa 1958, "C" (Swerdlowsk). Makers mark (Swerdlowskaja). The jeweler manufactured pieces from 1953-1967. The 1 is for 1961. Also hallmarked with Hungary import marks noting .835 silver. Each measures 1-1/2" in diameter + 1 floral hook and bail. Total weight 8g. While they have different hallmarks, this bracelet matches the next lot (lot #212) almost identically. .
