Etching, dry point, aquatint, with printed colour and hand colour. Depicting a lady seated at a chinoiserie desk, reading or writing letters, smoking a cigarette, fish tank on pedestal to the side. Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil to lower right, with Windmill blind stamp and numbered in pencil "217" to lower left. Plate measures 12-1/2" H x 17-1/8" W. Frame measures 21-1/8" H x 25-1/4" W.
