Late 19th century, rectangular bombe form, hinged casket box, tea caddy, trinket, jewelry, spice, or scent box. Repousse floral decoration to top corners and applique to front center. Winged female mythical creature to top center of cover, bun feet, gilt interior. No key. Hallmarked (Cyrillic), "84", and another to inner lid, hallmarked "assayer mark", "84", and (Cyrillic) to bottom of box. Measures 6" L x 4 1/2" W x 3 1/2" H. Weighs 282g.
