Black lacquer with hand painted gold trim and scenic backrests of two designs; an Asian maiden holding a parasol and an Asian man with a bird. Cream colored upholstery with bees. Each measures approximately 43" H x 24" W x 24" D, the armrests (on 2 chairs) measure 27" H. Purchased from and with receipt of "Jim Weinberg Interior" for $6548.80 in 1981. Manufactured by "Karges Furniture Company". This set was originally paired with the Bernhard Rohne Mastercraft dining table, also being featured in this sale.
