This is an outstanding, classically formed wine taster that dates from the art deco period. Christofle's premiere, high-end (quadruple plated) silverplated collection was the "Gallia" collection and this piece is hallmarked. The French firm of Christofle is noted for their superior crafstmanship and design. The taster measures approx 3 1/8" in diameter and 4 1/4" to the end of the thumb rest but not including the thumb Rest and is 3/4" deep. Hallmarked COLL-GALLIA, Christofle France, and other unknown silver/date marking. Has been attached to a silver chain to wear as a necklace with a key charm pendant as well. Comes with original box. Total weight is 8.29oz. Box measures 5-1/2” L x 4-1/4” W x 1-3/8” H. .
